Studs are metal threaded posts on the rear of the cut plastic letters. You can install impact signs cut aluminum letters on virtually any wall surface including interior office drywall exterior brick stone metal siding and stucco using the included stud mounts that thread into the back of the letters. On some of our very small metal letters we offer pin mounting. Letters with round bottoms i e o s g etc will have a flattened base to receive studs. Letters drilled and tapped from the bottom. Letters designed to create a halo effect when lit with leds are typically mounted to walls with studs and spacers to stand off the wall thus creating a halo.

Customer to provide their own bar or channel for mounting. Position the lettering in the holes without any adhesive and adjust the nuts against the surface so your letters project at the same distance. Specify if studs need to be in line for brick or block wall mortar joints. Block 8 on center.
